I love snow! Now if we could have had this about umm two months ago? Whatever. The important thing is I had that wonderful childlike excitement when I woke up and glanced outside to see beautiful, wonderful snow. I had no idea it was even a possibility and though I would have loved a white Christmas the unexpected surprise was totally worth it. All you people who live in much snowier lands should really take a moment to appreciate the finer flakes of life.
Even when we have snow here it isn't the right kind of snow. It is more like snow cone ice or straight up ice than packable snow. I've actually seen snow men and sledders! I think that is a first for my life here in Memphis and it rocks! I'm no photographer but I had to take pictures. Good thing I did too because it started raining later in the day before I got to take Derek out to play in it :( That was a big bummer. It took me the rest of the day to get over the disappointment. It was bad enough the Bryan was going to put Derek in his snow suit and put him out in the snow and rain to get some pictures. *Sigh* He's my hero.
Anyway, those of you who get snow on a lovely regular basis throw a snowball for me. And humor my winter wonderland pictures. By the by, we had warm weather just the week before this. By warm I mean I went out without a jacket kind of weather. Wacky.
